Acrylosin Soft Embedding Kit with Perkadox 16

This is a soft acrylic resin kit used to thoroughly infiltrate undemineralized bone, soft tissue, and porous biomaterials/implants. The resin is specially formulated for use with %u201Cthin section%u201D histology techniques where motorized rotary and sledge/polycut microtomes are used to produce sections at a range of 4-10 microns. Once polymerized, the resin is both clear %u2013 allowing for optimal visualization of the specimen during microtomy preparation/orientation and firm %u2013 allowing for tissue stability during section cutting with DHM%u2019s %u201CD-profile%u201D tungsten-carbide knives. The resin is soluble and can be removed from the tissue, similar to deparaffinization of paraffin embedded tissue sections, and as a result this provides greater tissue staining flexibility. Formulated @ 90% methyl methacrylate (MMA) 10% softener Packaged in a one (1) liter amber bottle and accompanied with a 2.5 %u2013 3.0 gram amber bottle of Perkadox-16 %u2013 kit produces up to 1 liter of embedding solution.
