Acrylosin Hard Embedding Kit with Perkadox 16

This is a hard acrylic resin kit used to thoroughly infiltrate undemineralized bone, soft tissue, and porous biomaterials/implants. It is specially formulated for use with %u201Cground%u201D histology techniques where diamond blades, wires, and circular disks are used to produce sections at a range of 50-100 microns. Its special formulation also allows for optimal support of the resin, infiltrated specimen, and the presence of any implant materials for even grinding throughout the entire section and to withstand increased heat and friction as it is subjected to a variety of grinding and polishing methods employed to achieve a final desired section thickness for staining. While staining is somewhat limited with thicker %u201Cground%u201D sections due to the porosity of some resins, DHM%u2019s Thick Section Macrotomy kit is well complimented with use the of DHM%u2019s Sanderson%u2019s Rapid Bone Stain and counterstain products. Formulated @ 97% methyl methacrylate (MMA) 3% softener Packaged in a one (1) liter amber bottle and accompanied separately with a 2.5 %u2013 3.0 gram amber bottle of Perkadox-16%u2013 kit produces up to 1 liter of embedding solution
